Yay!! We got the private Chemo Room again.
Thanks to our Cousin Melanie for saving it bright and early with these goodie bags.
Round 3. Half way.
She will have 6 rounds of 4 Chemo Drugs. The worst drugs.
She will then have 11 round of one of the drugs.
The last 11 rounds will not be as hard on her as the first 6 rounds.

Hailey goes home with one of the drugs on her stomach.
Its called Nuelasta.
A large patch is placed on her stomach where a needle is injected and released. Over the next 27 hours the medication is released.
This video shows how the needle is injected.
It is entertaining to watch.
Once it is opened. The nurse has 3 minutes to prepare it.
We time it.
3 minutes goes by very slowly when you're waiting for a needle to inject into your stomach.
It starts beeping.
Get ready for it.
It starts clicking.
Then stops.
Then injects!
Hailey's nurse "Deuce" Loves her. It's funny hearing her laugh.
At least we can laugh in the Chemo Room.
It's not all sad.
There are always smiles.
Wearing my Hailey gear to show support.
Because of Hailey's Hospital Stay,
Home Health came to her house and gave her 5 days worth of fluids and IV nausea drugs.
She stayed hooked up to her PORT
She was able to hook herself up to fluids.
Becoming dehydrated is not only super dangerous,
it also makes all of the sickness' she's feeling from Chemo much worse.
Kind of freaky for this to happen while hooked up to fluids.
For anyone that really knows Hailey..
She hates everything that has to do with blood and needles.
So this freaked her out.
But she fixed it herself.
Who is this girl!?!

One side affect is not only Hair Loss
But also nail loss.
She started getting ripples in her nails.
She hasn't lost them yet, but this may be the early stage.
More fluids and nausea drugs and they helped!
She felt much better, much quicker this round.
